Chefs vie for top at Chili Cook Off

The Island Chefs Chili Cook Off will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 at Useless Bay Coffee Company in Langley, hosted by emcee Sue Frause and with a surprise  musical guest. The event is a benefit to support the South Whidbey High School musical artists, including travel expenses for the bands, music scholarships and annual band expenses.

Join local chefs from UBCC, Prima Bistro, Mukilteo Coffee Company, Neil’s Clover Patch, Gordon’s, the Braeburn, Mo’s Pub & Eatery and Cultivar Catering as they vie for the best chili prize from a variety of local celebrity judges.

The evening will also include a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets cost $25 and are available now at Useless Bay Coffee Company.
