South Whidbey Church teaches growing into a life of grace

There are things Christians are to “put-on” and things they are to “put-off,” and that is the subject matter of I Peter 2:1-3. Pastor Darrell Wenzek's message this Sunday is entitled, “Established In a Life of Grace: A Time to Grow Up.” The Sunday, April 22, worship service begins at 10 a.m.

Each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. South Whidbey Community Church offers an excellent adult Bible forum led by Stan Walker, now in II Corinthians. Refreshments are available at each meeting; all are welcome.

The church meets at the Deer Lagoon Grange Hall, 5142 Bayview Road, Langley, while its property is currently under construction. For more information go to www.whidbeychurch.org or call 221-1220. This Sunday morning we will also include a special presentation for Compassion Children International with an opportunity for others to sponsor needy, third world children.
