Shelter from the hungry wolf

June 8, 2012 · Updated 3:52 PM

Today, many feel a fear that stands like a hungry wolf at the door, ready to gobble the sense of being loved and cared for; the wolf’s cry is about shootings, bad economy, disease and more.

The Christian Science service focuses on “God the Preserver of Man,” Sunday, June 10, and discusses how the promise of God’s loving presence can be utilized in practical ways to shelter loved ones and ourselves from that hungry wolf at the door.

Services begin at 10:30 a.m. at the church located at 15910 Highway 525, just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road. Everyone is welcome.
