Celebration of summer solstice in Freeland

Guest speakers Victoria Castle and Tim Morley with Glo Sherman will lead a celebration of the summer solstice at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 17 at Unitarian Universalist Congregation, located at 20103 Highway 525, Freeland. Attendees are encouraged to dress informally and to wear straw hats and bright

colors to add to the festive atmosphere. Also, bring a drum, a tambourine, castanets, two sticks with which to accompany a hymn. Everyone is welcome. Children’s religious exploration classes and childcare will be available. Check www.whidbey.com/uucwi for details.
