South Whidbey Elementary students enjoyed a school-wide field day Tuesday, June 13. The day began with a 5-kilometer run/walk on a course around both South Whidbey elementary and primary schools and water activities at the end. Students received ribbons of participation and everyone snacked on cake in honor of physical education teacher Jan McNeely's last field day before she retires at the end of this month.
