Jonah and modern times

June 22, 2012 · Updated 3:23 PM

Ever heard the phrase “How many times do I have to tell you?” Wouldn’t life be good if we only had to ask once for something to be done?

This Sunday, June 24, Pastor Dwight Ford will give a great example from the book of Jonah. His message titled “Jonah: The Second Time Around,” looks at the way Jonah treated what he was told to do.

At Langley CMA church, this is the third in a four-part series on this Old Testament book. Attend this Sunday to understand why this Old Testament prophet has a lot to say about current times.

Worship services start at 10 a.m. There is espresso in the lobby, coffee and snacks after the service and a relaxed time of conversation every Sunday. Call 221-6980.
