June 22, 2012 · Updated 3:25 PM

When we feel persecuted, it is good to reflect upon what Christ experienced for us; I Peter 3:18-22, deals with this topic. Pastor Darrell Wenzek’s sermon title at the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, June 24 is entitled, “The Ministry of Christ (for us).”

An adult Bible Study from the book of James will be led by Stan Walker at 9 a.m. Refreshments are served at both hours.

South Whidbey Community Church meets at the Deer Lagoon Grange Hall, 5132 Bayview Road, Langley.
