Church focuses on its foundation

June 22, 2012 · Updated 3:30 PM

Readings from the Bible and “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” form the foundation of each Christian Science service.

The readings on Sunday, June 24, will be about Christian Science itself, including the history of its beginnings in 1866 by Mary Baker Eddy and the history of its connections to the teachings of Jesus Christ with a focus on the healing message he taught: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10: 8)

Everyone is welcome at this service, which begins at 10:30 a.m., at 15910 Highway 525 (just north of Bayview and across from Useless Bay Road). Sunday school is also available at that time.
