Whidbey Evangelical Free Church in Greenbank installed a new senior pastor June 17. His name is Jim Schultz. He and his wife Darci, along with their daughter, Lucy, 2, came here from the Midwest.

Jim Schultz has been an associate pastor at the Chillicothe Evangelical Free Church in Illinois since 2008. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois in 2008.

Before that, Schultz graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Calvin College in Michigan with a major in U.S. history and a minor in psychology. He is licensed and ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Darci Schultz also graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a degree in intercultural studies. They married in 2008.

The goal of Jim Schultz’s ministry is to help people develop into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through the bold proclamation of the Gospel. Both corporate ministry and small group ministry are important to him in reaching this goal.

Darci Schultz has a passion for her husband and family and her work as a personal trainer. She has a heart for missions and serving the needs of the people around her.

Service starts at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments and fellowship following the service. All are welcome.
