A college education is essential in today’s world, and the University of Idaho is working hard to provide that opportunity. More than 5,400 students have been awarded almost $30 million in scholarship support from the University of Idaho for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The scholarship recipient from Clinton is Benjamin Richard Bennett.

“We understand the family financial challenges in the current environment,” Dan Davenport, director of Student Financial Aid Services at the university, said in a press release. “We are committed to a strong scholarship program that provides access and will continue bringing the best and brightest to the University of Idaho.”
