RELIGION NOTES | Discover being alone or not alone

July 27, 2012 · Updated 3:49 PM

Speaker Doug Benecke’s subject at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 19 at Unity of Whidbey, 5671 Crawford Road is “Alone / Not Alone.” Lives are, in the Unity church’s view, a dialogue between peoples’ solitary selves and the experience of community.

The ongoing discourse between contemplation and action, between breathing in and out, between solitude and society, and the role of the sacred in each mode will be the topic for exploration by songwriter Benecke, with musical company. Visit www.unityofwhidbeyisland.org.
