The Nightcrawlers Garden Club is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this fall.

The club began meeting in 1980 with 13 members who met at homes and restaurants, usually at night. The original planning committee members were Janice Gabelein, Karen Jeffers, Alice Miller, Carol Spangler, Margaret Tagg and Pat Westling.

The current 27 members still meet together at homes and restaurants. Upcoming programs include “Connecting Whales and People in the Pacific Northwest” by Howard Garrett, “Not Tonight Deer” by Anne Baum and a presentation by Sarah Richards of Lavender Wind Farm.
