Get to know God | RELIGION NOTES

September 28, 2012 · Updated 3:50 PM

If you ever thought you were so far from God it would be impossible to find Him, or if you ever thought God was simply tired of “putting up with you,” then you don’t know the God of the Bible. He desires more than anything to have you at his “banquet,” always looking (as we should) to fill the empty chairs.

Pastor Dwight Ford will discuss the parable of the empty chair during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, Sept. 30 at The Island Church, Sixth and Cascade streets in Langley. Family hour classes for every age begin at 9:15 a.m. and child care is available for children up to 3 years old. Sunday services are now streamed live and past sermons are available on the church’s Facebook page as well.
