Love makes a family | RELIGION NOTES

The touring exhibition “Love Makes a Family” will be on display in the fellowship hall of the United Methodist Church in Langley from Sunday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 4.

The display was created by the Family Diversity Projects of Amherst, Ma., and is a photo-text exhibit presenting portraits of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families. By allowing viewers to come face-to-face with LGBT people, Love Makes a Family makes visible the love and caring in these families, contributing to the process of dismantling the destructive power of prejudice and intolerance, church leaders said.
