RELIGION NOTES | Be as little children

October 19, 2012 · Updated 3:20 PM

Adults look at childhood as a time of carefree innocence. The qualities of childhood seem incongruent with an adult life in the world and yet, the master teacher, Jesus, says that we are to be like them. To be as a child is less about immaturity and more about recapturing important life skills. Join Unity of Whidbey at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21

as Rev. Patty Becker looks at some elements of childhood and see how they might be powerfully incorporated into everyday life. Heidi Hoelting will provide musical inspiration and Karen McInerney will be the platform assistant. All are welcome. The church is located at 5671 Crawford Road, Langley.
