RELIGION NOTES | A life on the edge is a life well-lived

John Graham has faced danger in Libya, Vietnam and Iran, but he knows the real risks in life challenge not the body, but the soul. A leader of the Giraffe Heroes Project and former U.S. diplomat, Graham will present the message “A Life on the Edge is a Life Well-Lived” at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island.

Graham believes nothing is more important than finding and living a meaningful life and the surest path to that meaning is service.

Religious exploration classes and child care are also available. UUCWI is located at 20103 Highway 525, Freeland. Go to www.whidbey.com/uucwi for information.
