Tulips benefit Langley Middle School jazz band

January 4, 2013 · Updated 3:45 PM

The Langley Middle School Jazz band is selling potted tulips for Valentine’s Day as a fundraiser to pay for repair of school instruments, purchasing music and to cover their travel and entrance fees to the Lionel Hampton International Jazz festival where they will compete in Moscow, Idaho this February.

Their goal is to raise over $4,000.

The tulips can be ordered in red, pink or purple and sell for $10 for a pot of five blooms. A band member will deliver them between Feb. 5-9, which makes the tulips a wonderful Valentine’s gifts. To order, call 321-2874.

Payments must be received by Tuesday, Jan. 15, or orders can not be placed.
