A friend is someone who makes life a little easier, especially if that friend is God.

Pastor Darrell Wenzek’s sermon title at the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, Jan. 6, is “Are You God’s Friend?”

At 9 a.m., Stan Walker will lead an adult Bible study in the book of Genesis. Survey of the Bible continues at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at the pastor’s house.

The church meets at the Deer Lagoon Grange Hall, 5142 Bayview Road.
