Purses with a Purpose are back

The 4th Annual “Purses with a Purpose” will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at Greenbank Farm.

Hosted by Soroptimist International of South Whidbey, this fundraiser promises a lively evening of food and beverage and festivities featuring the unique live and silent purse auctions for which this event has become known.

Purses and other bags, from designer to everyday, will be stuffed with themed items with broad appeal.

Soroptimists is a service organization of business and professional women who work to improve the quality of life for women and girls on South Whidbey Island by providing grants and awards to community beneficiaries.

Cost is $30 per person. Preregistration is appreciated and will streamline admission the day of the event. Go to the SISW website: www.sisouthwhidbeyisland.org for more information.
