RELIGION NOTES | War and peace explored on Whidbey

The third of a four-part films series exploring war and peace will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Trinity Lutheran Church’s old chapel, 18341 Highway 525 in Freeland.

The event is free. Discussion follows the film, a PBS broadcast of Travis Smiley Reports dealing with Dr. Martin Luther King’s speech, “Beyond Vietnam: A time to Break Silence.” Complimentary popcorn, juice and tea is served.
