Twelve South Whidbey High School students were announced as this year’s homecoming court.

The school began celebrations for homecoming this week with an assembly, a lunchtime DJ and outdoor games. This year’s theme was “Tour Around the World.” Students dressed up for themes such as “holiday day, class choice (sports, hippie, cops and robbers, togas and college day) “Harry Potter Day” and “Blue and White Day.”

The week concluded with a football game against Archbishop Murphy on Friday night and a Homecoming Queen and King announced at halftime, the results of which were not available at press time.
