Holiday services at Unitarian | RELIGION NOTES

“Winter Solstice/Yule Celebration,” a sunrise labyrinth meditation followed by a celebration of the shift toward more light begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21. Adults and children are welcome and childcare will be provided, as well as light refreshments.

“Midwinter,” with Rev. Dennis Reynolds, begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22. If people take a different perspective, might the dark outside and the dark within be places to hold and nurture that which begins below the surface?

Finally, “Christmas Eve” service with Rev. Dennis Reynolds begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. Gather to share stories and songs that reflect on how the joyous message of Christmas shines bright in our lives. All ages are invited to this traditional celebration filled with carols and candles.

All services will be held at  Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 20103 Highway 525, Freeland.
