Santa Claus made an early stop at the Freeland Habitat Store on Saturday, Dec. 14 on the location’s second anniversary.

Children of all ages enjoyed cookies and hot spiced cider as they waited to visit the jolly-old man.

Along with furniture and appliances, the store has a selection of building, electrical and plumbing supplies.

“We are more like a home makeover center,” said store manager Corinne Rouse-Kay. “We are not only providing a service to our community, we are raising funds to help ensure that every man, woman and child in Island County has decent affordable housing.”
