ACHIEVERS: Clinton woman receives award

Kristina Aija Johnson, daughter of David and Mara Johnson of Clinton, graduated from Duke University Law School in May 2008. She graduated from South Whidbey High School in 1997.

Johnson was the recipient of both the Class of 2008 Leadership Award and the faculty’s Law School Community Award.

During law school, Johnson served as program director of the Duke Law Innocence Project. She also completed an internship with the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya.

Following graduation, Johnson will work as an attorney in the international development sector.
