Writers Association learns about literary quilts

Diane Watts, an accomplished quilter, describes the inspiration and research that led her to create a quilt visually depicting the characters, plot, themes and symbols found in Stephen E. Ambrose’s book “Undaunted Courage.”

The colorful presentation was part of the Whidbey Island Writers Association’s open house in May at Rockhoppers in Clinton. The presentation was recorded and may be viewed at
