The Soup Kitchen in Langley has served a lot of people over the past 12 years.

The weekly free meal and free fellowship gathering recently served its 1,530th lunch. The crew marked the occasion by serving 170 hot dogs and hamburgers, donated by the Clinton Food Mart.

The kitchen is community funded and can always use meat, vegetables or cash.
