‘Financial Peace’ class back in session

Whidbey Evangelical Free Church will again host Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University” starting next week.

Each of the “university’s” 13 lessons meant to change how people think about personal finance. Ramsey is a financial author and TV-radio personality who talks about saving money, living on a budget, getting rid of debt, talking about money, and “experience the joy of giving.”

Specific topics include careers and credit reports, debt collectors, investments, retirement, insurance, real estate, college planning and more.

The first lesson begins at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 8. The church is at 874 Plantation Drive, two miles south of Greenbank and six miles north of Freeland.

For more information, contact Financial Peace University coordinator Barbara Bishop at 331-5488 or Ronald Young at 579-4680. More course details are available on the Web at daveramsey.com.
