Island couple marries

Jessica Albright, daughter of Thomas and Reva Albright of Clinton, was married June 7, 2008 to Christopher W. Van Wetter of Langley.

The garden wedding took place at the home of the bride’s parents.

The couple met and fell in love two years ago after Albright moved back to the island from Seattle.

The bride graduated from Bayview School in 2002 and went on to receive her esthetician’s license from the Aveda Institute in Seattle in 2006. She currently owns her own waxing business and is also employed at Prima Bistro.

Van Wetter is a 2004 South Whidbey High School graduate and is a carpenter with Gemkow Construction.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon on a road trip through Washington and Oregon. The couple resides in Langley.
