The annual Trash & Treasure Sale at St. Augustine in-the-Woods Episcopal Church in Freeland will be from
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the church.
“There are lots of goodies,” said chairwoman Lynda Dial. “This is our 46th year.” She said the event has raised thousands of dollars for island charities.
The giant recycling sale includes baked goods, books, toys, tools, garden and craft and household items, plus some real treasures ready for purchase, Dial said. There will be coffee and donuts for sale for early arrivals, and hot dogs, soup and pie at lunchtime.
Leftover items will be donated to Good Cheer, Dial said.
The church is at
5217 S. Honeymoon Bay Road in Freeland.
