Islander to marry

Nicholas Torbergson of Fife and Rebecca Torbergson of Las Vegas, Nev. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Amy L. Torbergson to Michael J. Helland, both of Renton.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Mount Rainier High School and is now the office operations manager for the Redmond/Kirkland branch of John L. Scott Real Estate.

The groom-to-be is the son of Michael Helland of Clinton and Beverly Helland of Black Canyon City, Ariz. He is a 1999 graduate of South Whidbey High School and is now a water maintenance technician for Water District No. 49.

The couple, along with family and friends, are looking forward to their wedding ceremony, which will be held on Sept. 19, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.
