Nominations needed for award

Do you know a nurse who has made an impact on your life? Maybe you know a nurse who has done something heroic, served the community faithfully or shown exemplary courage.

In honor of National Nurses Week, Whidbey General Hospital is accepting letters of nomination for “Outstanding Nurse” recognition.

The recognition is open to all nurses working within the Whidbey Island community. Winners will receive a copy of the nomination letter and a certificate of appreciation for their dedication and commitment to making a caring difference in people’s lives.

Nomination letters must be postmarked by April 25; mail to Whidbey General Hospital, Outstanding Nurse Nomination, Clinical Education, 101 N. Main St., Coupeville, WA 98239.

Letters must include both the full name and contact information of the nurse and the person who has made the nomination.

Awards will be distributed during National Nurses Week, May 6 through May 12.
