The Puget Sound Blood Center will make a visit to South Whidbey with a stop at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland on Monday, May 4.

The blood drive is from 1 to 7 p.m., and all interested donors are urged to stop by.

Donating blood takes about an hour, and every donor gets a “mini physical,” which includes a blood-pressure check. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be free of a cold or the symptoms. There is no upper age limit; a regular donor on South Whidbey is in her 90s.

For more information call Janice Martinovic at 321-4692.
