Brass players needed for Halloween gig
October 8, 2009 · 9:31 AM
Organizers of the second-annual Halloween Costume Parade in Coupeville are trying to assemble a small low-brass band (tubas, baritones, euphoniums and trombones) to dress in costume and play a simple dirge for the short costume parade.
Musicians who are interested can call 360-678-3310.
The parade starts at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Cook’s Corner Park and proceeds down Front Street, ending in front of the museum. Children and their parents are invited to dress in costume and join the fun.
