Whidbey students earn honors at UW

More than two dozen South Whidbey students have earned a place on the dean’s list at the University of Washington for summer quarter.
From Clinton, the outstanding scholars are Jaime Leigh Barker, Nashua John Compton, Kenneth Reed Johnson, Andrew H. Martin, Joseph Rollin McArdle, Jared David Moore, Jenica Dawn Nixon and Tyler William Rumberger.
From Freeland, the super students are Keven Fjellman Ashlan, Rachel Grace Evans, Matthew Nels Idso, Andrea Patricia Lacour, Michael Allen Lodell, Alexis Echo Pong, Ashley Dawn Poplawski, Samantha Nichole Prendergast and Daniel Warren Shafer.
From Langley, the high achievers are Lucy Alma Brennan, Lucy Marie Burnett, Nathanial John Frei, Somer Arden Kreisman, Chelsea Belle Miller, Richard Rain, Andrew Robert Schmidt, Bridget Connell Scott, Robert Butler Scott and Gareth Nelson Snow.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4).
