HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center is hosting volunteer training for its winter session next week at the county fairgrounds in Langley.

Anyone who is interested in helping the nonprofit program is welcome. There is no need for horse experience; organizers only ask that volunteers help HOPE riders discover their abilities.

Training will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 at the fairgrounds in Langley. All are welcome, whether new or returning volunteers.

The winter session will be held on Tuesdays in Coupeville, starting the first week of January.

Those who are unable to volunteer for winter session are still welcome to attend the training to be ready for later sessions.
