A warm welcome to Taylor Junebug Janes, born at home in Freeland on Dec. 17, 2009. Her proud and joyful parents are Courtney Taylor and Michael Janes.

“Junebug” weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Her grandparents are Kim and Ken Kramer of Langley; Mike and Kathy Taylor of Costa Mesa, Calif.; Steve Janes of Langley; and Kathy Janes of Spokane. She has three great-grandmothers, who include Eleanor Eidemiller of Langley; Eleanor Taylor of Newport Beach, Calif.; and Marty Kramer of Eugene, Ore.

The family would like to give a special thanks to their incredible birth team: Dianna Mincin, Kim Kramer, Lindsey Read, Crystal Ogle and their amazing midwife Cynthia Jaffe
