Whidbey Watershed Stewards will start its "Seedlings" program again tomorrow.
This four-week series is for 3- to 6-year-olds, and weekly sessions are from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and begin Tuesday, Jan. 12. Students will explore the forest together, work on a creative project, move and stretch, and enjoy a theme-related story and snack.
Winter themes include “Sparkling Snow,” “Powerful Polar Bears,” “Persistent Penguins” and “Guessing Ground Hogs.”
The series will be taught by Lori O’Brien, the developer of the “I Wonder Science Series.” O’Brien is the Whidbey Watershed Stewards’ outdoor classroom educator and has a master’s degree in elementary education.
Class size is limited. For more information, and to register, call 579-1272 or e-mail octeacher@whidbeywatersheds.org.
