The Open Circle Choir will hold a Community Songfest this Saturday at the Langley Methodist church.

Open Circle is a non-audition community choir for everyone.

“You don’t need to have any musical experience to have a great time,” said co-director Peggy Taylor.

“The songs are easy to learn and have lots of stunning harmonies,” added co-director Steve Motenko.

The songfest is from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30. Langley UMC is located at Third Street and Anthes Avenue. The selections for the songfest will include music from around the world. There is no admission, but a suggested donation of $5 or more will go to WIN, Whidbey Island Nourishes, which provides nutritious meals for homeless teenagers and other youths.
