Volunteer training for the HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center’s spring session starts next week.

HOPE has a lot of new students in the coming session, and the nonprofit needs many more volunteers to help riders. Horse experience is not necessary.

Volunteer training will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at the Leisher Arena in Coupeville, and from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 at the county fairgrounds in Langley.

Spring session for students will be held on Tuesdays in Coupeville and Thursdays in Langley, starting the third week of March. New or returning volunteers are all welcome to attend.

For more information on volunteering, call 221-7656 or e-mail Melissa at melissajacobe@yahoo.com.
