The South Whidbey High School Class of 2011 is inviting the community to join it for a night of baseball — and maybe another Ken Griffey grand slam — to raise money for Grad Night.

Grad Night is a safe, drug- and alcohol-free celebration held each year on graduation night. Fundraising will help make sure that all students in the class of 2011 are able to attend Grad Night on June 12.

The Mariners play the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05 p.m. Friday, May 7 at Safeco Field. It is Ken Griffey Jr. bobblehead night and tickets are $20; all proceeds support the graduation-night party.

Tickets will be on sale in the high school commons during lunch from 10:50 to 11:20 a.m. on Friday, April 2.
