Itaya completes basic training

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Gabriel M. Itaya graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

The airman is the son of Beth and Joseph Itaya of Clinton and is a 2006 graduate of South Whidbey High School.
