HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center will present the Larry Hall “For the Love of the Horse” clinic as a benefit for HOPE this month. Hall will share and demonstrate his philosophy and methods to improve the relationship between an individual and their horse.

Topics include choosing the right horse, being the right person for the horse, delayed learning and how to have a quieter ride with more focus and a better attitude. The clinic will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, April 16 and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Island County Fairgrounds in Langley. The public is invited. A donation of $20 or more to HOPE is suggested.

Those planning to bring a horse, call HOPE in advance at 221-7656 or e-mail hope@whidbey.com.
