There is still time to sign up for the South Whidbey Youth Connection’s Great Art Adoption.

Artists and others who have artwork they no longer want or need can sell those pieces while helping the nonprofit organization. At the Great Art Adoption event, people can sell or buy art and half of the proceeds will go toward the youth connection’s after-school and job-placement programs.

Locals can bring up to 10 pieces of art to sell, including their own creations, to the art sale, which will be held on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 in Fellowship Hall at Langley United Methodist Church.

The deadline for signing up is Friday, April 23. Artworks will be delivered on Thursday, April 29.

To participate, contact Gary Croft at 221-4142 or gary@swyouth.com.
