Whidbey students excel at UW

More than two dozen students from across the South End have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Washington for the winter quarter.

From Clinton, the outstanding scholars are Christina Marie Babcock, Janelle Marie Iversen, Amanda Joyce Lavassar, Hannah Ruth Levi, Andrew H. Martin, Joseph Rollin McArdle, Jared David Moore, Shane Christopher Sherod-Clyburn and Joseph Alan Smith.

From Freeland, the super students are Keven Fjellman Ashlan, Danielle Comeaux, Caitlin Elizabeth Fjelsted, Jessica Avon Hertel, Matthew Nels Idso, Samantha Rose Pope, Samantha Nichole Prendergast and Daniel Warren Shafer.

From Langley, the excellent undergraduates are Julie J. Antetomaso, Dustin Mark Fairbrook, Nathanial John Frei, Scott Michael Halliday, Somer Arden Kreisman, Andrew Robert Schmidt, Bridget Connell Scott, Gareth Nelson Snow and Nicole Maria Steward.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4).
