Langley's Mystery Weekend kicks off on Saturday as amatuer sleuths descend on the Village by the Sea to solve the annual whodunnit.

This year's version is called "Murder Most Prescribed," and revolves around the closure of the Langley Clinic.

Mystery Weekend begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and wraps up at 4:30 p.m. Sunday with the murderer revealed and incarcerated. Awards will be given to top sleuths.

The Langley Visitor Information Center on Anthes Avenue will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and the "coroner" will deliver his report at 1 p.m. Saturday at city hall.

On Sunday, the visitor's center will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., the murderer will be revealed at the Langley Middle School.

Visit the information center to sign up or find out more, or call 221-6765.
