Central Whidbey Hearts & Hammers presents Johnny Bulldog in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1 at the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge at 155 NE Ernst St.

Proceeds from the event will support the Hearts & Hammers workday blitz on May 7, when volunteers assemble at properties on Central Whidbey to repair and rehabilitate the homes of those physically or financially unable to do so alone.

Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and are available at the BookBay in Freeland; Bayleaf and Linds drug store in Coupeville; and at Bayleaf, Shred Shed Guitar Shop, Wind and Tide Book Shop, and Whidbey Coffee and Café in Oak Harbor.
