Rural Characters need truck photos
May 9, 2011 · 9:17 AM
The Rural Characters are looking for pictures of “Pickup Men” and the women who love them for their annual concert at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts on May 13-14.
The concert will feature songs about men and their love of trucks — from childhood through old age — with the over-riding lesson that “there’s just something women like about a Pickup Man.”
The guys are hoping folks will send in photos of guys and their trucks, or women with their man and his truck, or any variation on that theme. Favorite photos will be projected on the screen behind the Rural Characters while they perform.
Digital photos are best; old prints, or even slides, that can be converted, are OK.
Digital images should be at least 300 dpi for good projection, and sent to info@wicaonline.com by Tuesday, May 10. Be sure to include your name and contact information.
