WICA announces auditions

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts will hold auditions for its 2011-12 theatre series later this month in Langley.

Auditions will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 at the theater.

The series includes Yasmina Raza's “God of Carnage,” directed by Andrew Grenier; Maltby and Shire's “Big, the Musical,” directed by Robert W. Prosch; Robert Harling's "Steel Magnolias," directed by Tim Rarick; John Patrick Shanley's “Doubt," directed by Sean Brennan; and Peter Morgan's “Frost/Nixon,” directed by Richard Evans.
