The South Whidbey State Park will host a forest walk at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.

Discover the beauty and diversity of the Forest Discovery Trail on an evening walk with Elliott Menashe of Greenbelt Consulting and Robin Clark, program manager at Whidbey Watershed Stewards.

The pair will lead interested folks on the trail talking about the wetlands, the bluffs and the shorelines. All ages welcome; no pets please.

The program is free; donations are requested to support the interpretative programs of the park. A Discovery Pass is not required for this event.
