Artists of South Whidbey will start the year with a pastel demonstration at their meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 in the Brookhaven meeting room in Langley.

Noted pastel artist Karen Schroeder will be presenting a demonstration of her unique pastel technique.

ASW welcomes artists of all levels and media to join their meetings, which begin with a sack lunch at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at noon with the demo at 1 p.m. Artists should bring artwork to share for critique.
